After Coderdojo Gorey a few weeks ago I went to meet +Dee Sewell aka +Greenside Up she had just finished giving a workshop on how to grow vegetables in Small Changes. We had n't seen each other in a while. While we were talking she filled me in on the plans for a garden at Bloom and the fact they needed a logo! Sitting there I sketched out the idea above. It seemed an obvious solution. I subsequently developed 3 other ideas but this was the one that the network choose.
Its great to see it on their Ning site http://communitygardennetwork.ning.com and on T-shirts at Bloom! Looking forward to seeing it in print and rolled out on their other social media sites.

+Dee Sewell has written a lovely blog on how the CGN Bloom garden happened - I'll be blogging more about my involvement shortly.
I'm delighted that someone else has asked me to design a logo for their organisation based on the hand drawn logo for CGN. I'm working away at that.
We love your logo and so do others! Anne, one of the CGN members suggested we have the logo shrunk and placed as a small badge on tea shirts and SOLD to raise funds they liked it so much! She felt many would buy it. Also passed on your details to Sonaite (SEED) who liked it so much so fingers crossed. I was mighty impressed to see you sketch it there right in front of me. Clearly a woman with vision. Thank you :-)
