January has been full on with two launches:
Crafts Council of Ireland Enterprise website ccoi.ie/enterprise my role researcher and project manager. Worked with a great team at CCoI, talented designers @ AaD Studios and Brian O'Kane a great writer, Pauline Rowan did a splendid job on the video content.
CoderDojo Gorey http://coderdojogorey.blogspot.ie/ my role catalyst, champion. We have had huge demand and a great team of volunteers is now in place as mentors, administration/communication.
+ I have started back teaching, facilitating & learning with the Arklow Women of the World group. This year I am developing a 12 week craft and design curriculum based on cultural creativity around jewellery.
I knew it would be a busy month, it sure has lived up to it.
So I'm closing off CCoI and getting organised with the WOW group, connecting back in to First help the start up team that I worked with and we were awarded funding at Digital Undoc Camp in London last year. I'm lining up new work - 3 days a week or full time... it depends on what make the most sense. But I am looking for new opportunities and I like the look of some stuff sitting on my desk already! Watch this space 2013 is going to MEGA!
