Flexing my creative muscle

I'm just about to head out the door to Waterford for the Visual Theatre workshop at Red Kettle with Joan Baixas (he has collaborated with artists such as Joan MirĂ³, Antonio Saura, Matta, Luis Pascual, Joglars, Circus Oz ++); I'm feeling nervous. I remember a vague wear white & something paintable! I thought I was meant to get preparation material... I have n't. In fact there was a whole dilemma about if I would get to go or not.
Before I knew I got the place on the course I committed to be in Kildare tomorrow working on the 'Leading for a change' emergent leadership program with Kildare and Wicklow Community Education. This second session should have happened Wednesday but was rescheduled due to calender clashes.
I might still not get to participate in the workshop, Ben Hennessy the Artistic Director Red Kettle Theatre Company and I discussed it and we agreed I would travel to Waterford and discuss it openly with Joan to see if it will work. I can't be omnipresent.
Joan Baixas is known for production of visual theater where he mixes the paint with puppets, masks, robots and slide shows - right up my alley then!
I kinda feel this is a bit of a risk. I hope I get to participate. I love the idea of the MAPAMUNDI SONRISA [Smile Worldmap].

I made a concious choice at the beginning of the year to develop my own creativity push it beyond the boundary where it lies right now... applying for this workshop seemed a great opportunity. Fingers crossed I get to participate and collaborate.
What do you do to flex your creative muscle?
